Updates on 08/15/2008:

  1. New Feature: Glossaries for Mathematics
    Now users are able to view glossary terms and definitions for Mathematics throughout the website. The following screenshot resembles how the terms and their definitions will show. The defined terms will show with a red underline and when the user rolls over the link a small window shows with the description of the term. These definitions are consistent within the subject area and will show on the print view and when exported to Microsoft Word or Excel. On the print and export screens, the related terms will show in the bottom of the page.

  2. New Report: Glossaries Report for Mathematics
    Now users can download a report that includes all the glossaries for Mathmatics in one Microsoft Word document. The report can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.floridastandards.org/downloads.aspx

  1. New Module: Access Points
    Now users are able to perform browsing, searching, printing and downloading of access points without having to go through the benchmarks. This is similar to the process used for standards and course descriptions. Every access point has an individual web page that includes the link(s) to the related benchmarks when that relation has been defined such as in Math and Science.   2. New Module: Print and Download Complete Reports
    This is a new feature that allows you to download or print reports generates on a nightly basis. These reports include an export of the standards of an entire subject area with or without remarks and access points. These reports are automatically compiled and exported on a daily basis making it much faster for you to download. These reports include information such as depth of knowledge for each benchmark, remarks and examples and access points. The reports are available for each of  the subject areas and include the following:
    • Standards and Access Points report: with and without remarks and examples
    • Access Points report: with and without remarks and examples
    • Standards without the access points: with and without the remarks and examples.

  3. Keyword Search Highlights
    Your keywords will be highlighted within the search results when you perform a keyword search under course descriptions, standards or access points. The highlights will also show on the pages that you navigate to from the search results. 

  4. New Design look
    The website look has been revised to match the official DOE site. 

  5. Printing capabilities
    When you print any screen, the website design graphics will automatically hide. Now the user does not have to click on print view to strip down the graphics, you can simply click the print button on your browser. The print view option is still available on every screen.
