Welcome to the official Florida Standards website. This site is the home of the approved new Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and course descriptions. More standards and course descriptions will be added as soon as they are complete and approved by the Education Board. In order to get started, please select one of the two options below or others on the left side menu. You can always come back to this screen by clicking on the "Homepage" button on the left menu. To check what is new on the website, please click on the What's New link on the left menu.

The Florida Standards section allows you to browse, search or list all the approved Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. In addition to displaying the standards, the site allows exporting benchmarks to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or simply open in a print view mode. The site includes the standards for the following subjects: Language Arts & Reading Mathematics Science

The Florida Course Descriptions section of the website allows you to browse, search or list the revised course descriptions. In this section, you can display, export and print the revised course descriptions. Currently, only the Mathematics course descriptions are available but more subject areas will be included as soon as they are revised and approved.  Click here to review the proposed Science Course Descriptions.
