Content Page Icon Easy Links to Benchmarks, Access Points and Courses
A new service has been added to CPALMS to enable users or external websites to easily link to benchmark pages, access point pages or course pages by their perspective numbers. This new service makes linking to these particular pages simple and easy.


What does this mean?
Assume you have a list of 20 benchmark numbers in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Microsoft Word document that you like to make a link to the live page of the individual benchmarks. In the past, you needed to search for these benchmark numbers and copy the link back to the document. Now, you can write the link without having to go to FloridaStandards.org and simply by using a link like this example (e.g. benchmark used is: MA.K.A.1.1)


Assume a district has a list of course numbers on their website or intranet and would like to make them hot links to the course pages to show the latest information about these courses. Similarly to the example above, each of the course numbers can be converted to a link without the need to search for each one of them individually and simply by knowing the course numbers.



How do I use this service?
Please follow these examples to use the service:

  • For Benchmarks - use the following link and replace MA.K.A.1.1 with the benchmark number of your choice: 
Example: http://www.floridastandards.org/standards/PublicViewBenchmarkMA.K.A.1.1.aspx
Fill in the blank: http://www.floridastandards.org/standards/PublicViewBenchmark_____.aspx


  • For Courses - use the following link and replace 1200310 by the course number of your choice:
Example: http://www.floridastandards.org/courses/PublicViewCourse1200310.aspx
Fill in the blank: http://www.floridastandards.org/courses/PublicViewCourse_____.aspx


  • For Access Points - use the following link and replace MA.K.A.1.Su.a with the access point number of your choice:

Example: http://www.floridastandards.org/standards/PublicViewAccesspointMA.K.A.1.Su.a.aspx
